Screw 9/11 Mysteries - the Clunker Edition

O.k., to be fair, I posted a link to 9/11 mysteries a couple of posts back. I think I also mentioned that I WANT to believe terrorists flew planes on their own into the towers. Now here is a video debunking of the 9/11 Mysteries.

Screw 9/11 Mysteries

This is in no way judging either video. I am not a structural engineer, so do not know! The "Clunker Edition" puts subtitles with debunking explanations superimposed over the original video 9/11 Mysteries.

There's also another thing; this Eric Hufschmid who was quoted in the original film is a so-called Holocaust Denier. Exactly what connection that has with the original video goes way over my head. As I do with wanting to believe the official story of 9/11, I certainly believe the pictures of emaciated Holocaust Survivors from Nazi concentration camps. (to that right wing Christian commenting two posts back, some of those people were gay...)

As I may have mentioned previously, the Holocaust does not give Israel the right to do anything it pleases in modern times and 9/11 should not give our government an excuse to do anything in the name of some "War on Terror".

Let them go - ok?

I'm sure wherever the British sailors were, they were right on or near the border with Iran. Of course with GPS and all, they probably knew exactly where they were. So, I take the British at their word - they did not cross into Iran. While I'm sure the Iranians also have GPS, they are said to have been doing some "probing" lately.

Do they want war? Does the Coalition want it? Just let 'em go and that part of the confrontation will be ended. This sounds like a provocative action to encite a retaliation.

General says military shouldn't accept gay behavior, likens it to adultery

Dear General Pace,

Please accept my Honerable Discharge. You'll notice I have written the words "void" on it. I'm not sure you'll get all the gay combat vets who served in Vietnam and the Gulf War(s) and Afghanistan to turn theirs in, but you can try.

I'm sorry you find me offensive - however, I will continue to support those serving in our Armed Forces. Whether or not there is "don't ask, don't tell", there will still be gay or bisexuals serving in the military. Even before all that, I encountered a significant number of them during my stint.

Sorry to bust your illusions, but to the best of my knowledge the military has the same proportion of homosexual and bisexual persons serving as there are in the civillian population.

You can refute that last statement, if you wish, but the evidence lies with those who have left the service and are free to be open... There's plenty of "them" around if you wish to discuss this.

Mayans to 'cleanse' Bush site

Why didn't they just sacrifice him to the Gods??? Or was that the Aztec's I was thinking about? Gawd the fella just can't catch a break in Latin America. After he leaves the White House, maybe they can come over and "cleanse" that, too!!!

Hagel for President?

The Nebraska Senator is expected to throw his hat into the crowded ring today. He seems to be a real nice guy... however, I have to admit I know very little on his positions!!! I do admire his candor in opposing the Bush Administration war policies (Neo-Con). Unfortunately, I suspect that he doesn't have the great personality necessary to become President. He's a nice guy with decent midwestern values -albeit a bit dull.

We elect personalities in this country. Occasionaly these personalities become leaders, or in the case of Bush, they become pawns for controlling interests.

Editor's Note: O.k. he's going to put it off for a while to focus on pressing issues such as the war.

Gallup Survey?

O.k., I have an idea... Instead of letting politicians run the war in Iraq, the U.S. Armed Forces should contract Gallup to conduct a confidential survey of ALL troops in Iraq. I understand that some grunt (pardon the expression) may not have the knowledge of a Pentagon planner with regards to resources, but the "boots on the ground" most certainly have an idea if this conflict is winnable. Gallup could configure a number of pointed questions to the soldiers about how things are going and what our course of action should be. This is a survey which definitely should NOT be written by the Pentagon or military brass. Note that I said pointed questions and not loaded questions.

If the troops show support for the current action, the troop surge, then fine - Congress should give their support - at least for another year. If the troops think it is an ill-conceived plan (just to save Bush's hide) and that it is NOT working, then Congress should muster whatever power they have to help bring them home!

So far, aside from some television interviews of troops generally supporting the military's actions, the only evidence we have of how the troops feel is the fact that most Iraq and Afghanistan vets running for Congress ran as Democrats!

I'd be prepared to accept the result, however in reading the preceding paragraphs, you obviously know that I don't think things are going well!

The pompous lil' twit spouts her mouth - again!

Gosh, I love it! I'm surprised that Ann Coulter's gracious long neck doesn't get wrung. Still, I admire her wit sometimes... But she's got to realize that conservatives are on the run now and that was a bit over the top. No, I'm not wild about John Edwards, but he's no faggot!

Oh God, part II...

Now I hear that our injured vets are getting a raw deal and substandard care at Walter Reed and other military medical facilities! Oh holy crap! It kinda hurts to see MEDDAC, or whatever they are called, to be doing so poorly - as this is the part of the Army I was in. Whenever they gear up for war, the Pentagon planners need to gear up for injuries and casualties!

If they can't afford to give returning vets top-notch care, they can't afford to go to war!

Oh God!

Today's story is that U.S. troops fired on innocent Afghan citizens as they hastily retreated from an ambush. Not that I can't understand why this happened, but it is NOT good publicity! Obviously, the Taliban or whomever these terrorists were don't mind firing from crowds of civillians. Still, it is sad when civillians die. What makes me sad is that I think we had a real opportunity to show success in Afghanistan. Now that we are bogged down in two wars, Afghanistan is slipping away. What a shame!
